Song Parodies ->Authors -> Mike Armstrong
The dynamic duo of Mike Armstrong (Mike Johnston and Jordan Armstrong) started writing parodies in the summer of 2000 as a way to mock pop culture, sports, their home state, or to simply finish a homework assignment (See : "Fire Man"). They stumbled upon Amiright in the spring of 2002, and have been submitting to the site ever since. Many of the early works were collaborations, such as "Kokomo" and "Leb'non", but many of the recent works have been done individually and submitted under the entity Mike Armstrong. With both members of MA in college (Jordan at the University of Michigan & Mike at Indiana University), they try their hardest to keep up with the ever changing world of parody writing. While they are proud of their 3 top 100 hits, and hope for similar successes in the future, both members of MA relish writing quality parodies about quality topics. They hope to record some of their personal favorites sometime in the near future. Here's to many more great times at Amiright!
