Band Name Origins:

E (vocals, guitar, keyboards) had two solo albums before forming Eels. He thought of the band as a continuation of his solo stuff and wanted their records together in stores. So they picked a name that started with "e." Sadly, they forgot about all those Eagles and Earth Wind and Fire records in between. Submitted by: Paul
