I just thought there must have been some other guy in this little town named Andy Warhol. Then all the sudden I thought of 'I Shot Andy Warhol' and my husband and I have been laughing for an hour. That's the night that they hung an innocent man. Why They're Nonsensical: The title seems to allude metaphorically to the prisoner being electrocuted, but then we're told he was hanged. Which is it? I know there's a movie based on this song, which I haven't seen. Somebody out there tell me: does the guy fry or hang at the end?
