Story about this misheard lyric by: Johnny WhiteBoy I heard this song as I was driving down the road...only because the teenagers in the car with me wanted to listen to their music. I thought that somebody had found a way to make Shakespeare current for this generation. I was just about to tell these young people all about Othello, but something inside of me told me to keep my mouth shut. This was one time when that inner voice was right...and I decided to listen to it. |

As punishment for his crimes, the volatile and controversial "Party Up" poet must wear pink t-shrts, underwear and socks, as do other inmates at the Arizona jail he is serving time for. Sheriff Joe Arpaio though of the idea after DMX and the other inmates stole his underwear and dyed them pink. The rapper called the punishment ridiculous and disrespectful.
