"Seventy-six Trombones" is another song from Meredith Wilson's musical, "The Music Man". Robert Preston who played Professor Harold Hill, the lead character, would not only play the character in the original Broadway run, but also play Hill in the 1962 motion picture. Later in the musical, "Seventy-six Trombones" is chorus and full cast piece.
