Can you pay my bills? Can you pay my telelphone bills?
Can you pay my automobiles? Then maybe we could chill.
I don't think you do, so you and me are through...
What the hell was this songwriter smoking? Who pays cars? And don't get me started about the terrible grammar at the end of the song... 'I don't think you do'. Do what? Listen to your music? You're right!

I don't think you're ready
For this jelly
This song seems to consist of the singer boasting about what a great body she's got. Maybe 'jelly' is a common euphemism in the usa, but to this Brit's ears it just sounds like she's got really bad cellulite or something.

Kelly can you handle this?
Michelle can you handle this?
Beyoncee can you handle this?
I don't think they can handle this
What exactly is 'this' that they're trying to handle?

Even if the pope said he liked you too
I don't really care cause you're a bugga boo.
Firstly, somehow I doubt severely this man the dc girls are lambasting would even have the chance to *get close to the Pope*, let alone get an opinion from him on whether he himself is a cool guy or not. Secondly, I guess nobody would care if he was liked by the Pope, so a 'duh!' is awarded to dc for such an insightful observation. Thirdly, was the songwriter playing with some kids in the playground while brainstorming these 'scathing' lyrics? I'm surprised the girls didn't chant 'nah-nah-nah-nah-nah' at the end of this! Talk about pathetic excuses for rhyming.

Can you keep up? Baby boy?
Can you lose my breath?
And you know this.
Can you lose my breath? Keep it hot.
Can you lose my? Hah-Hah.
What is this supposed to mean? Is it a riddle? And how the hell can you lose someone's breath you can't lose someone else's breath. And what the fourth line mean ''Can you lose my? Hah-Hah.'' yuornot allowed to laugh what were you on?

I'm a survivor
Ok, girls, right. Just tell my why the helicopter comes for your rescue at the end of the song if you're such an ass-kicking hard chick group?

If I surround myself with positive things
Wow Destiny's Child got really desperate with this line - it's too cheesy and sounds weirdly out of place. An example of the wit and wisdom of Destiny's Child!
