The Lyrics

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has chosen a VP who could be compared to the gelding that accompanies a racehorse from the paddock to the gate, in an attempt to unite the party behind that ticket. Some insiders are concerned that his record is too conservative. Click here for original lyrics.
Bring along Gov. Mike Pence,
As politicians cry.
For gay marriage lacked words
(Takes gal and guy).
When two guys were hoping,
Their words began to sting,
Because unnaturally wished
To wed before the Spring.

The Donald's in Paul Ryan's House,
Counting touts and buddies.
He's green on Rules of Order,
Needing heady studies.
Outplayed was "no-Trump" card, then
Hillary's polls rose.
Trump crown claimed with crackling words
And perfect Hoosier chose.

Don't take this too seriously; I just had fun matching the sounds of the original words to the best of my ability.
