Parody Song Title:

"The Pile's High; They Want Mo'!"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

His faith's faux, his "charity"
Doesn't extend to Jews and whitey.
Then he'll invoke the Bible to blow smoke
Up asses, what a joke!

He created enmity,
Calling this country the "enemy."
But he invokes the Bible to blow smoke
Up asses, what a joke!

Obama must have sorrow--
This "preacher"'s made him pay.
Bet he wishes that tomorrow
It all will go away.

They're* fake, faux; mendacity
Is their coinage, not veracity.
Post-blowin'-smoke, they're pilin' up your dough:
The pile's high. . .they want mo'!

*"They" referring to bible-thumping scam artists such as Wright, Roberts, the late Falwell. . . .

Just far enough off the pacing as I remember the song to defy my best efforts to wrench it into alignment, but dead-on message-wise, and a grin, to boot. Meanwhile, I guess Oral's still getting a 2nd chance to cover the vig for Da Big Capo In Da Sky. :-)
Me, I'm covered either way. True: I was "saved" by Billy Graham himself at Pittsburgh's Forbes Field sometime between '54-'56. Between 7-9 years old at the time, I hadn't been offered the option of not attending teh rally, and wasn't, at it, offered the option of staying in my seat when Billy gave the "come forward" cattle call. However, in retrospect, and considering the location, I figure that made me at least as credibly as Susan "Annie Savoy" Sarandon a lifetime member of The Church of Baseball. :-)

Thanks, Stan (I think it's OK, based on what I found on the net, my memory being to faulty), Alvin, UKV.
