I saw Chris Simon slew-foot
and oh so bad was he
for when he saw his vicim fall,
he stomped him needlessly
he said he's angered, but he's changed
but this was just plain wrong
I think it's more like he's deranged
suspension is now long

now having Simon slew-foot
is not how it should go
then stomping down his skate blade too,
to try to cut off toes
the other players chastise him,
they 're glad he's gone, you'll see

but Siimon's slewfoot came that day
from skates he did wear
and kicking some one down right there
was nothing like he's learned
his last cross check was just as bad
and finally he got burned

now everybody hates him
Don Cherry maybe too,
and ever since that stupid night
he's gone, good riddance, too
