"I Came Upon the Mad Elf Beer"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

OK, officially, it was "The Mad Elf Ale," made by the Troeg Brewing Company of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. But there weren't enough good songs ending in the "ale" sound, and this was too good to pass up. I swear, I am not making this up, even if I am pandering to a certain someone on this site.
I came upon the Mad Elf Beer.
That glorious drink so bold.
It seemed a gift from Middle-Earth.
I touched the broth of gold.
"A cheerful creation," label said
"to warm heart and enlighten tongue."
And at my age they do not card.
I guess I don't look young.

With flavors, cherry and honey, too
it satisfied my throat.
I had to order another round.
Can't drive no car or boat.
This ale, it came from Harrisburg.
Not Gondor or Wyoming.
Good head, and frigid, lots of hops.
Its praises I now sing!

Tasty, Michael. Ever had Yuengling, from Pottsville, PA? The Lord Chesterfield Ale is outstanding.

How fitting that your new favorite beverage has Elf in the title! I, of course, don't drink...so I can be your designated driver. =)

Don't think I've seen this beer in Ohio...but, this would make a great commercial jingle...
