Parody Song Title:

"Model Preacher"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

“Model preacher,” model preacher many name you,
but you like the ladies, mounted doggie-style.
If parishioners knew of this, would they blame you,
call you model preacher if they grokked your wiles?
(You’re a money-squeezer. . .gelt-extract by guile.)

Had a child with one of lovers, “model preacher”:
it’s likely acolytes would title her “tart”
if they knew that you’d screwed—bad for your rep.
You’ll be guy snared if your lies bared.
It’s bad form, how you deal, “model preacher.”
Leave po’ wife home, ’ho-bone, go drone when service starts.

In a pile with several lovers, model preacher
using not protection bought at a drug mart.
And so you knock up Sue, who wrecks your rep.
You’re a guy snared, ’cause Sue lies bared.
Your bad form made her squeal, model preacher.
Will you atone or moan, the devil made you start?

Model preacher, money-leecher,
model preacher, moms’ll seek ya.

Like the topic; disappointed by execution.

I hoped this would be about Rev. Will D. Campbell, who died on June 3 at 88. After growing up in the racist South, he became active in the Civil Rights movement, joining MLK & others in marches & planning; then opposed Viet Nam War, helping defectors into Canada. He was the "model" for "Kudzu" comic-strip character Will B. Dunn. But I was disappointed by this unspecific put-down.

Why be specific? There are so many of these scam artists out there that they're generic.

I forgot to mention that Rev. Will D. Campbell was white. I'm sure he was called a "n****r lover."
