The Lyrics

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050525/ap_on_en_mo/star_wars_sabers . Thanks Johnny D for the inspiration. I have not seen Star Wars or any other news story on this, so I'm a bit limited. This took about 5 minutes to compose. I will not waste my precious time on imbeciles.
( intro )
Lets make some swords, grab my friends
I will play Luke ( or Anakin? )
We're really bored, but now assured
To get, to get Darwin Awards

We're burned (x15)

Grab some light bulbs, they're fluorescent
No now don't use, incandescent
Learn of follies, adolescent
Where's parental, supevision
Watching Star Wars, got ideas
In the burn ward, skin it pe-els, OW !
( Hey.....wait )

They're dumb as crap, that's my guess
And for this stunt, I'm impressed
Their little game, came to an end
Now children learn fuel's not your friend

Hell no! (x15)

Grab some light bulbs, they're fluorescent
No now don't use, incandescent
Learn of follies, adolescent
Where's parental, supevision
Watching Star Wars, got ideas
In the burn ward, skin it pe-els, OW !
( Hey.....wait )

( solo )

I hope you learned, lesson this time
And maybe next time you won't try
I find it hard, it blows my mind
Why you are rushing afterlife?

Hello? (x15)

Grab some light bulbs, they're fluorescent
No now don't use, incandescent
Learn of follies, adolescent
Where's parental, supevision
Watching Star Wars, got ideas
In the burn ward, skin it pe-els

We're on fire (x9)
Okay, given the content of that article I had to make up QUITE a bit of this.

The Farce is with you, Red AntWalker.

Not bad for a five-minute parody. Takes me longer than that to write the title....555

I am impressed (again) 5s...and what's with all the cheesey Wars-a-like titles suddenly? Wouldn't catch me demeaning myself like that, no siree

I heard something on Bob and Tom(I'm from Indianapolis) this morning about that, the things some kids do to imitate that stuff. I don't think the movies should be to blame, it should definetly be the kids(who apparently have a few screws loose). I give this 555. PS: I left a question on our thread.

Nothing like gross stupidity to lighten up the day. Good job, Red Ant.

The farce is strong in this one.

So moronic (the victims of their own creation), but not this parody! Excellent work for a parody written in 5 minutes!

Good use of words...and a good message.

Thanks Johnny D Kenobi, Rick C (Obese One More Canoli), DAKakin Skywalker, Stephen aka Step-chan, Scathe, AFW, and Stuart McArthur. This would have been side-splitting hilarious to me if I would have turned ( solo ) into ( Hans Solo ). I wish I had caught that one.

Thanks much "parody man".

Sorry it took me so long to get here, Ant In Chains. Nice job. But did it REALLY take you only five minutes to write this? Wow. Coming up with fluorescent/incandescent/adolescent alone would have taken me hours.
Red Ant - July 03, 2005 - Report this comment
Thanks Spaff.com for responding. Yes, it took me about 5 minutes to come up with the idea after reading the half-page article and about 5 more to type it out. As far as the rhymes, I didn't use rhymezone.com either.
