The Lyrics

This parody is based off of Excel saga.
He'll take the city over if he can
the conquest is for what he stands
he likes to speak in an intelligent voice
his followers hail him in rejoice
he has a plan to take over the town
Fukuoka is his battleground
he sends the girls to go search and assess
being in Across they feel so blessed

Hyatt needs drugs to start up her heart
Elgala's pillow is close to her heart
Excel keeps Mince locked in the house

He'll take the city over if he can
the conquest is for what he stands
he likes to speak in an intelligent voice
his followers hail him in rejoice
he has a plan to take over the town
Fukuoka is his battleground
he sends the girls to go search and assess
being in Across they feel so blessed

Hyatt needs drugs to start up her heart
Elgala's pillow is close to her heart
Excel keeps Mince locked in the house

He'll take the city over if he can
the conquest is for what he stands
he likes to speak in an intelligent voice
his followers hail him in rejoice
he has a plan to take over the town
Fukuoka is his battleground
he sends the girls to go search and assess
being in Across they feel so blessed

Hyatt needs drugs to start up her heart

Excel keeps Mince locked in the house
It's based off the manga.

A bit lost on this one Stephen. Listened to this 3 times in a row and its hard to tell where one line of vocals end and another begins ( which isn't your fault ). Also, either you added an extra 2 stanzas to TOS or I am really lost. 454.

I actually wrote it from memory(I did sing to TOS too, I liked what I wrote). This is an example of my earlier works where I threw caution to the wind and I didn't worry about it too much. Thanks for the vote. PS, I don't quite understand what stanza mean, did you mean extra lyrical lines or syllables?

Well, from hearing TOS, there are only 4 stanzas I can discern, yet you listed 6 ( stanza=separate paragraph). I tried several times to follow it to 6 but kept arriving at 4.

Would you like me to post the lyrics? I counted 8 seperate lines in the verses.(Which if combined, add up to 4).

I think I know what was throwing you off, since this one I started writing before finding out about this site, I didn't count syllables(I went by lyrical lines and singing accapela, when I first created it. Then I sung it to TOS, and had no problems with it myself). It's a practice I have since done away with, since I want to get better at writing them(minus the "Complicated" parody).
