The Lyrics

My take on the old Frog Prince story. MM does sound like he's croaking in this song, after all...
E-E-Excuse me, down here amongst the minnows
What is your name? Josephine, that's nice, you should know
I'm down here, in the swamp that is shallow
The one with the expandable throat

I'm the frog, now don't freak out, Jo
It's my fault, now hear me out, so

Of all the pretty, pretty ones
I had to chat up, why'd
I pick the bitchy, witchy one
Now I feel low, though I jump high

I'm a frog now, kinda sucks, Jo
I'm a frog now, it's the croak show

My face used to be on all the covers
Of the magazines and newspapers
The press thinks that I've gone undercover
To hide from the press, it's all bollocks

I was the prince of ol' Moldavia
But now I'm stuck
Here in this smelly bayou
Now I ask
You one little favour
Don't run away
The witch she left a little loophole

A girl who finds me pitiful
Who hears my tale and cries
No matter if she's pretty dull
She can help me stop eating flies

All that you have to do to break the spell
Is kiss me on the lips and mean well
It must be full of heart and all that crap
Come on Jo, help me out, just one pash

You're such a pretty, pretty one
Please have a heart and try
Don't be a picky, picky one
Just squat down low and close your eyes

(It's smoochin' time!)

Still a frog, wow, that was fun, Jo!
I was talking out my arsehole
"Hole" can be pronounced to rhyme with "Jo", I've seen Lee Evans do it!

Welcome to the legion of frogs! Me, Cat and You all have taken this twist on the tale of the Frog Prince! I still want to parody this song but I need to come up with a good idea for it!

Fun parody, but I'm not gonna get warts from reading it, am I?

Hehe, that was the best I've seen from you in awhile, Tcop! Lots of risks with the rhymes, clever idea to name her Jo so you could work in the O rhymes, twist ending that made me lol on the train. Good!

(Artistry) A princely parody. Of course, in todays world, someone nearby with a camera phone would have taken a picture and posted it on the froggie love website.

Parody was really good, I just struggled a bit with the pacing, It could be worked though--and it was strangely befitting to this song

(Artistry) I liked this a lot! The topic went great with the original, and it was hilarious! I also had some pacing stumbles, but otherwise this was great!
