The Lyrics

Dude loves making charts. Because he's kind of a dork.
Gonna chart it up
When I chart it up, the lies will sto-op
Love to chart things up
When I chart things up, falsehoods will sto-op
How I love to plot
All kinds of data, it's so hard to sto-op
Gonna chart it up
When I chart it up, the lies will stop
They will flop, all will flop, gonna flo-op

The charts will never lie-ie-ie-ie
The data points don't lie-ie-ie-ie
You can see where they lie-ie-ie
It takes some toil but soon you'll see
That all of my hard work means things to me
Chart it up

Gotta chart it up
Cause I'm a charter, it's my job to plo-ot, to plot, to plot
Should know there's a big divider between dudes like me
And researcher buds
They're the guys who spend time lookin' up
All this stuff, field work stuff, not my stuff

I spend all of my ti-i-ime
Sittin' on my fat hi-i-ide
Makin' charts, bar and pie-ie-ie-ie
I'm not irate, this life's for me
It's super easy when you're a dork like me
Chart it up

Mmm, chart it up
I'll graph that scatter-plot, yeah
Until I'm seein', seein', seein' spots
Eyes hurt, bud, whoo!
That's a part that sucks
Must chart it u-up, never ever slow

Some people ask someti-i-imes
"What if the charts tell lie-ie-ies?"
Won't let them, rather die-ie-ie-ie
I take this shit seriously
I have embraced this job so much I'm called a frea-ea-ea-ea-ea-eak

Must chart it up
Dread the day when I lose this great job
Love this job, I can't stop, I love this job
Toughen up
I've got lots here to plot
You, you, you say I've got no li-i-ife
You, you've got a point there, bu-u-ud
True, true, I still love graphin' stu-u-uff

Watching the video for this song, all I could think of was "hey, Mick Jagger looks kinda like Mark Hamill before either became super-wrinkly". Also the drummer had an air of "yeah, you keep prancing around, Mick, tell me when we're done so I can dunk my head in acid".
