The Lyrics

She gets pain pills, she sells pain pills
She don’t pay the rent
If they don’t give her, her prescription
She will scream and vent

She got notice, of eviction
But she’s got renters rights, alright
‘Cause the process takes a few months
So she will squat and fight, ‘cause we are

Living in an enti-I-tled world
And she is a pig tramplin’ on pearls
You know that we are living in an enti- I-tled world
And I am about to freakin’ hurl

He’s disabled? Lifting dumbbells?
He’s a sight to see!
He’s got pectorals, and big laurels
But no J - O - B!

His knee’s stiff but, there’s a diff’rence
If he’s set to play
Racket ball or tennis matches
He’s all arms and legs, ’cause we are

Living in an enti-I-tled world
And he is a big weasely whirl
You know that we are living in an enti-I-itled world
And my rage is about to unfurl

Living in an enti-I-tled world (enti-I-tled)
Living in an enti-I-tled world
{repeat}

People scheme and people SCREAM!
And push soon comes to shove
Like a serpent lets all be wise
And harmless as a dove, ‘cause everybody’s

Living in an enti-I-tled world
And life is a fruity nut cream swirl
You know that we are living in an enti-I-itled world
And I’m warm in my blanket all curled(I deserve this)

An enti-I-tled world
An enti-I-tled world
An enti-I-tled world
An enti-I-tled world

Living in an enti-I-tled world (enti-I-tled)
Living in an enti-I-tled world
{repeat and fade}

I hear ya!

The welfare system in the UK is unsustainable, there's no doubt about that, and something's gotta be done. But I can't say I'm impressed with Call Me Dave's crew's cack-handed approach to it so far. The Child Benefit cap is probably one of the biggest screw-ups on the horizon. Stopping it for people earning £50,000+ a year is fair enough, but because they can't organise the proverbial in a brewery, they can only make the assessment on an INDIVIDUAL's income, not a HOUSEHOLD income. So families where only one person works and gets £50,000 a year will have their Child Benefit taken away from them - but families where BOTH parents work and EACH earn £49,000 will get to keep it. How did they ever decide that was fair?!
*Climbs off soapbox* Hmmm, think I need some chocolate now...

The welfare system is intended to be a safety net, not a hammock.

Welfare cheating is rare in Finland, but does exist. I know an example of the latter case - a healthy man faking disabled; nobody has dared to do anything with it because the man in question is extremely violent

I know a fellow who gets disability. He has anger issues and doesn't want to work. That is considered "disabled". Another fellow gets free housing, a car, food stamps. All so he can sit at home and impregnate women with more welfare babies.
