Just to be fair, the following women looked great in part because of their gowns, not in spite of them: Cate Blanchett, Penelope Cruz, Annette Bening, Virginia Madsen, Halle Berry (no surprise there), and newcomer (to North America, anyway) Catalina Sandino Moreno... Vaca sanctifida, esta mujer esta fumando! (That's Spanish for, "Holy cow, that chick is smokin'!)
