The Lyrics

'Nother tribute. Tribute to an author.....I barely know. But yeah, dude this one's yours. Another priceless, invaluable, tribute spoof to authors here. I swear I am the DAC of the site. I write and tribute others in my work........guess that's not necessarily a bad thing.
I can always see him spoofing hourly day in and night
A marvelous spoof author on Am-I-Right
He submits a spoof almost each day
The spoof shines on just like the sunshine's ray, never gay
And he is highly likely on the Am-I-Right author list hall of fame

Airfarcewon
Have some fun
Airfarcewon
Number 1!

So many spoofs, higher than I dare to try and count
Each time he hits submit that number, higher it mounts
The crowd's rushing in for the read, because the author's so popular he will succeed, indeed
And you wonder how he got there as an author here to begin

Airfarcewon (spoofing to do)
Fire your gun
Airfarcewon (Spoofing salute)
Never done!

Followers it seems that he's made a million
Hope it's not in his hear future to retire
Keep on writing man no it's not in our interest to one you man, we're all fans
He gives me hope to keep on spoofing better like a star, just like him

Airfarcewon (spoofing tonight)
On the run (Lead Am-I-Right)
Airfarcewon (Give us a laugh)
You're so fun! (Even the staff)
Airfarcewon (Pass on the torch)
You're not dumb (Sit on your porch)
Airfarcewon (Please like my spoof)
Like the sun (Then raise the roof)
Airfarcewon (Five all your work)
Rhyming pun (You're not a jerk)
Airfarcewon (Oh Airfarcewon)
Airfarcewon!
A simple tribute, but yeah. Another author tributed. Hope you enjoyed it AFW, spoof on!

Sensei - Agreed. AFW is the uncrowned king of gentle apolitical (and VERY funny) parody humor. Thanks for appreciating him. ;D

Great job... AFW has no equal, his parodies are good ones (I don't think I've read any bad ones from him), the OSes he uses are excellent, and his wit is good. Fives for Sensei and AFW...

Thanks, OMR, Rob, and Andria...In reading this again, I just feel I should say a little more, and so I will....."A little more"...and also, this: I stand before you deeply humbled by such a great honor and tribute..I'm thrilled and delighted to the bottom of my soles, worn, as they are....and I, proudly, accept this prestigious award, not only for my grateful self, but for all the prolific and talented writers and submitters here on this amazing website....I really feel too undeserving to be even listed or grouped with such great authors...I have so many people and places to thank: First, let me thank SamuraiMaster for writing this version of the song, and also, Duran Duran, and whoever may have composed the original lyric to their song, "Girls On Film"..never realizing, that someday in the future, someone, like I, would be the subject of a grand tribute parody..I'd like to thank my Fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Snoddledorf, for having patience, foresight, and guidance, and for building a perseverance stairway that has led me here, on the Balcony of Success. I'd also like to thank Shortie Boogwalder, who graciously allowed me to copy his Senior test paper, without which, I never would have even graduated from Koople High School in Corn Grits, Nebraska, and would not be receiving this tribute, at all. Although I never attended college, I thought about it. And so I'd like to thank several of those that I thought about attending. Thanks, to Youngstown State University, Kent State University, and the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. I'd also like to thank people like Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, and Kobe Bryant for having someone to look up to. I'd also like to thank my plumber for keeping our facility in good working order, making it possible for me to make "Regular" entries here, and a special thanks to Orville Redenbacher for creating the popcorn of inspiration. There are many that I couldn't possibly thank enough, so I won't even mention them, or bother trying. In winding down, I suppose I'm going to forget to thank somebody. Well, my fifteen minutes of fame is up, (actually, I believe I've been yakking for sixteen minutes).. Yes, I just know I'm probably going to forget somebody....No, damn it, I'm NOT...Thank you, Somebody!
