One of your better writes, Jason. Good humor, great pacing, excellent chorus sub. Only thing I might have changed is the "They have all the help that you need to do well/
You can meet up with all the dudes" lines to rhyme a bit better and be less repetitive... and to include the women who enter SOTM. =)

I got thrown by the extended first chorus as well. But all in all a very good parody.

Yea I have noticed. Can't understand why as your parodies are quite good.
Such an obvious title swap that I figured it should have been done already, but searching says no, so I say yes and give you 5s despite having to go for another source.
This was pretty decent, but the fact that it is too Amiright-esque is going to hurt you when it comes time to vote, because although we can relate to it this song is not open to a wide audience if it was recorded.

(SOTM-Mar08) The SOTM idea went very well with the OS. And I do not doubt that you worked hard and long on this one. The OS at first glance looks easy to do but I have done this one and this is one author that knows it is no push over. "In The Navy" is even worse. I'm giving extra consideration for a good job on a tough song and your crack at the SOTM recognition. Good job Jason.

(SOTM) As Matthias said, parodies about AmiRight rarely do well in the SOTM (I speak from experience). However, you did do a great job here, so there's that at least.
SOTM- Sounds like a great promo to bring more authors into the comps. Well done, Jason.
SOTM - I think it would been a little bit better if you mixed up the chorus like Red Ant said above.
Well, I have only made the podium once, so I know how you feel. What makes it worse for me is I'm always right behind the top 3 it seems. In fact, it's become rhetoric. Weenie on a Hot Bun, Full of Himself Rhapsody, Smelt You on the Bus Line--I've had so many that were "Number 4" or 5, and Churnalicious may join that list. I do particularly bad on the last day (as the one who does the math, I do see when I drop out, but I keep on trying none-the-less, Antarcitcan Terrorist--my one SOTM medalist that wasn't a Wild Card from last year, nearly dropped out the last day too, so I know how you feel)
