The Lyrics

Al Pacino…some of your roles’ve been quirky
But that “Jack an’ Jill” turkey…is so wrong now
Oh, it’s a bad one…but I know that you had your reasons
That movie was pleasin' you…as one more cash cow

You were great in “Donnie Brasco”, boy
As hit-man Ben Ruggiero
I reckon “Serpico” is prob’ly your best yet
So you’ve been in lots of fine things
Such as “Heat” with Rob De Niro
But the Pfeiffer film is one that I’ll forget

Al Pacino…when you were Tony Montana
Insane was your manner…from far too much coke
On charlie, oh charlie…well, there was paranoid ravin’
Intense was your cravin’ from the moment you woke

An’ “Carlito’s Way” is a fave o’ mine
A mad Sean Penn as the lawyer swine
The only disc with him on I can play
I’m lovin’ how the movie flows
To the endin’ where you blow your foes away

Benny Blanco…one gaffe was leavin’ him livin’
He won’t do forgivin’…so full o’ hate
So at the station…he makes a hell of a drama
You shoulda worn some body armour (worn some body armour)
You get a dose of bloody karma...an’ you meet your fate

Yeah, great old Al..."Heat" was good, But you missed mentioning his first major role, and probably, his greatest, "The Godfather" series..fine job of writing, though

The title alone made me laugh.

Great work, Andy. I was hoping to find Sonny from Dog Day Afternoon in there. But they can't all go in. Agree with Serpico.

Thanks all.

AFW & Peregrin - Yeah, perhaps I should have picked a longer OS.

I agree that the cadence is spot-on with the original Desperado. And the lyrics are very funny, especially for Pacino fans. Great job, Signore Primus!
