The Lyrics

This probably won't make much sense unless you already know the story
Esmeralda...I know your birth name was Agnes
You been brought up with Gypsies...for so long now
Oh, you're in Paris...an' I know your love is for Phoebus
But he's jus' been teasin' you...you're pert an' you're wow

And you are the queen of dancers, girl, so jump up on the table
I know your goat does tricks he's more than just your pet
Now it seems to me no fine sings have been made about this fable
But I'm so surprised Al Rhodes ain't done one yet

Esmeralda...oh, in the frame for a murder
You'll hang from a girder...your mouth it will foam
An' Quasi, oh Quasi...well he's got plans in the makin'
It's you he'll be takin' so your death he'll postpone

With his feat so bold you are feelin' fine
The mob runs wild an' their torches shine
The troops all yell "The Gypsies we will slay"
The king has seen you all as foes
It's not funny now you're facin' woes today

Quasimodo...you're on the churches' defences
Her sentence commences...you're full o' hate
A tear is runnin'...an' then you whisper "I love you"
You bet there ain't no God above you (Ain't no God above you)
You wanted her to bloody love you...but now it's too late

The bit about no fine sings only refers to this site
I did a Google search for AmIright Quasimodo and got no hits so I presume there are none

You go, guy! There are times when I think, "Why didn't I think of this?!" This is one of those times. Fantastic job.

You're right, it's right up alvin's alley -- perhaps he has a new co-conspirator? Scary.... Fives for your quasi- Rhodo parody.

Andy, marvelous job on the Hunchback! Brilliant telling of a classic tale! I just had visions of Sir Charles Laughton and the beautiful Maureen O'Hara! 555 bells ring out for this masterpiece!
