Parody Song Title:

"Live?! Let ’m Die!"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

So, you are young and your heart ain’t like Cheney’s: broke,
Got no insurance—long you’ll live
(Forget it, kid. . . .),
But then things change: you get sick. Help we should be givin’?
Tough shit, kid, here’s our cry:
“Live?! Let ’m die!
Hey, kid, it’s ‘goodbye’
Live?! Let ’m die!”

You ain’t got a plan? Screw you!

KID:
Can’t afford one. What to do?
You gotta have much wealth
For leeches in the field of health.

So what we say: Live as a Lib.
(Don’t let ’em live unless they’re Lib, don’t let ’em live),
But in our zany world, just of ourselves we’re thinkin’—
Only pronoun is “I.”
Lip’:* Let ’em die. . . !

Sounds like this was inspired by Ron Paul's response to Wolf Blitzer's "gotcha" question at the CNN-sponsored Republican candidates' debate. This Libertarian view is not shared by many others. Besides, so-called "catastrophic" insurance policies, the minimum sign of personal responsibility, are affordable and still available until they will be outlawed when Obamacare takes full effect.

"Affordable" health insurance generally provides little coverage and has huge deductibles.
