Bette Midler is one of the most talented actresses in a long time! I liked her in Beaches and Hocus Pocus. I also like her songs: Wind Beneath My Wings, From A Distance (which we sang at the school pageant a long time ago), and The Rose (which I can also play piano and guitar). Great write and tribute, Malcolm! 555.
