when they get there they know, any wood that's exposed
gets the murphy's oil soap, or there's what for..

when they wash down the walls, I can always be sure
perfect job or there will be two cleanings
pick up socks, sort the books, and arrange all my things
and then all of those gifts I've been given

there's a feeling I get when my place looks it's best
and I peel off the cash as they're leaving
in my kitchen it seems, rings of smoke they did leave
and some grease from the last day of cooking
ooh this is such a blunder

what I paid for not done as they're leaving

and as the vacuum bag unloads
my cufflinks down among the load
now this bad lady has to go
she wants her pay but I say no!
now I check if she has taken gold
this inventory thing is hard
the count will come to me at last
there's every one, I have it all..
now that's a shock she has a soul..
