Ignorant minds? Like the ones that knew in early 2020 that Biden was not mentally up to the task of being a dogcatcher's assistant, let alone be leader of the free world? Was our "ignorance" brutally exposed in that recent Press Clownference or WHAT?. I especially liked the part where Biden yelled at a reporter who asked about his mental state .. Because nothing refutes the possibility of dementia than an OLD MAN YELLING!!
To tell the truth, I'm no Biden supporter either. What is frightening you have a potential world leader saying he would support the invasion of a NATO ally.
The answer to your question is simple: he's standing because if he doesn't, or doesn't win, he's going to end up behind bars before very long. His only possible way of staying free is to become president and cause yet another constitutional crisis by pardoning himself (without, of course, ever admitting that he did anything wrong.. which for anyone else would be a prerequisite for receiving a presidential pardon).
That's why he's doing everything in his power to delay all the cases against him until after the election. Well, one reason: another would be the number of independents who would refuse to vote for him if convicted. Strange, he's so obviously guilty of so many things, just from what we already have in the public domain.
