Though you tried to stay on in power
You realised that the time had come
To take an early shower.
Your party was in turmoil
And they couldn’t make up their mind
They ummed and ahhed on Brexit
You were forced then to resign.

And it seems to all you spent your time
With your head high in the clouds
Never listening to your cabinet
That was not allowed.
And you should have seen what was coming
But you ignored it all
Your tenure’s ended just before
Your party’s going to fall.

Who then is to blame?
Do we need to go back in time
To find a former premier
Who really did lose his mind.
What he did was mad
When he handed you the reins
Sorting out a holy mess
With Conservatives going down the drain.
