Original Song Title:

"Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Suri, Save Her From Her Dad, That Nerd"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Save Katie! Save Suri! Save them both from Tom, regardless of whether he really is Suri's father!
What've I gotta do to make you save me?
What've I gotta do to make you care?
What'd I do to make him act depravely?
All my boyfriend's marbles aren't there!

What did I do to make him want me?
What turned him into such a gooney-bird?
What do I say to make this over?
And Suri, save her from her dad, that nerd!

It's bad!
(It's bad!)
So bad!
(So bad!)
It's a bad, bad situation
and it's getting more and more absurd!

It's bad!
(It's bad!)
So bad!
(So bad!)
Save me from my wacko lover!
Oh, it seems to me
that Suri must be saved from dad, that nerd!

It's bad!
(It's bad!)
So bad!
(So bad!)
It's a bad, bad situation
written by that guy, L. Ron Hubbard!

It's bad!
(It's bad!)
So bad!
(So bad!)
Save me from my wacko lover!
Oh, it seems to me
that Suri must be saved from dad, that nerd!

What've I gotta do to make you save me?
Why is my cry for help not heard?
What do I do to save my baby?
What've I gotta do?
What've I gotta do?
Save Suri and me from her dad, that nerd!
If any of you consider yourselves to be nerds, and are offended by being compared to Tom Cruise, I heartily apologize. I guess "Mission: Impossible IV" will have as its plot either the rescue of Katie and Suri, or the attempt to deprogram Tom. Or, at least, turn him into a comparatively clear-thinking Scientologist, like John Travolta, Kirstie Alley and Isaac Hayes.

Looks like I'm the first guy to write a parody about the birth of the Tomkitten. May God bless Katie and Suri... by sending someone to liberate them from the Glen Ridge Gooneybird!

ha - loved "Gooney bird" - you're always so quick off the mark, MP - admittedly I was impressed with the name Suri, but the rest of the story is a tragedy in the making - 555

If there was a Black Hole Award, you'd win it for the song that sucked the most.
