The Lyrics

Wish they had this on the menu at Taco Bell.

Tuna taco, a fishy treat for the senses
Wafts past snout; quite intense is aroma - Wow!
Oh, it's a soft one
It tastes so good, nat'ral seasons
Aroma is pleasin' me
Dessert for me now

Love to gnaw cuisine of hymens; joy!
A sweet for any table
You know the bean that's tart's the best food you can get

Now, in dreams I see some fine things
Have been laid upon my table
Want them only with a sauce that's dripping wet

Tuna taco,
Oh, I ain't gettin' no younger
Again do I hunger; I'm strivin' for some
I need 'em with Edam, well, that's good cheese for the toppin'
In mouth, I am poppin' this here de-licious crumb

Woe, my feet get cold 'cause I'm past my prime
The roof has snow, but I still can dine
"Not hard" to know the right time for buffet
I'm losin' all my size; that blows
Need a yummy meal, appealing nose bouquet

Tuna taco, like salty "see-food" incense, is
Dispense with the menses; serve it up straight
I may be greyin', but it's champagne to taste of you
Slit silhouette, oh, how I love you
(Bet your cow I love you)
Wrapped in fishnet, best chow; I love al-....-bacore; it's first rate!

"Tuna taco, like salty "see-food" incense, is Dispense with the menses; serve it up straight" Um, not exactly my first choice for dinner. . .Tuna Taco? Talk about a creative mind. . .I sure as heck didn't see THIS coming.

I saw it (or smelled it?) coming a mile away. I think you have a franchise idea here. Tommy Turtle's Tuna Taco stands. The Man in the Boat sez, "Mmm, tasty." 555

"... bacore it's too late" 555 NuBee Question?? Is anything considered "over-the-line" in a parody?
McKludge - October 24, 2007 - Report this comment
Walt, I'm beginning to wonder if the line is kinda like the back line of the batter's box in baseball. As time goes by, there is less and less of the line left. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Chucky does have a FAQ about submissions, but the bottom line is to avoid foul language/cursing and avoid overt insulting/threats of other submittors.

Hey, Tommy, great work. I have been considering the Eagles for my 25th parody, either them, Billy Joel, or Elton John. You wouldn't catch me eating a tuna taco, because I'd get gas... it's building up... It smells like 5's.
Syncronos - October 24, 2007 - Report this comment
*chuckles* Did you eat this taco on a Summer's Eve or did you go to a costume party where you got to Play Tex?

What's the difference between Tommy Turtle and a Triscuit? (sorry, don't know how to put the trademark symbol in). A Triscuit is a snack cracker and TT is a...

Below Average Dave (badave.com): To each his own lol... thanks Dave.

McKludge: Love it! TTTT Stands... and cool ad slogan! Thanks McK :)

Walt Conner: As McKludge said, no obscenities... but double-entendres, clever puns, and euphemisms *might* make it through while painting the pic in the reader's mind, which is what TT tried to do here... as alvin said at TT's other post today, we walk a tightrope, but as TT replied, walking tightropes on one's flippers is very difficult, which is why he falls off so often... As today's other post said, the admin must make difficult decisions to provide for maximum user-friendliness while also trying for max laughs and max creativity for writers. Not an easy call to make on many occasions, I'm sure. I have a parody for tomorrow that addresses the issue.... and thanks for vote and comment, Walt.

alvin (lol!) thanks :)

2Eagle, thanks.

Andrew D. Lacroix: Thanks... you ought to try them some time; they're not bad, really.

Syncronos: (lol!) thanks :)

PMS: ROFLMAO! (Don't think you can put symbols in the comment boxes, 'cuz no HTML is allowed or parsed. In parodies, ™ will get you the little "TM".) Thanks P! :P
This Box Just Made A Liar Of Me - October 24, 2007 - Report this comment
PMS, I stand (crawl) corrected.... the comment box did indeed parse the HTML into a trademark sign, as you can see.... ok, to make a "TM" type this "& trade :" without the quotes and with no space -- that's ampersand, the word "trade", and a semi-colon, with no spaces in between. Useful guide to HTML here: 3w.cookwood.com/html/extras/entities.html

I have actually seen fish tacos here in S. Texas. I think I'll get into my desperate auto and go get a take out order - NOT. I'll eat sushi but nix on the fish tacos. I'm afraid I'd get hooked on them. Actually I'm on a sea food diet. See food - eat same. Thank you for choosing Taco Smell today. Your pick-up number is 555, oh and don't forget your change.

Phew! Is it hot in here? This is knuckle-bitingly close to the edge, TT...but I'm glad you chanced your hand and posted it. It was HILARIOUS. 555

I heard tuna tacos taste great with vineger and water. (yes, one more sicko douche joke.)

There are only two things that smell like fish and one of them is fish. Something smells fishy here, I hope it's fish tacos with camel toe sauce - mmmm my favorite.

What's the old Bette Midler joke (pre-Wind Beneath My Wings days)? "If god didn't want man to eat p***y, he wouldn't have made it look like a taco."

stuart mcarthur: thanks for v/c .... and please go back to the parody you are referring to, and see the comment from the residents of the actual town of Cooter... so what was all the fuss about? :)

Loved this!!! Yeah, I agree that they should've put Tuna Tacos on Taco Bell! I would love to try those! Well, maybe it's easy, just get the proper ingredients: Tuna Salad, Taco Shells, Shredded Lettuce and Cheese, and Diced Tomatoes! It's great, especially for people who want to eat healthy at Taco Bell! 555 Tuna tacos for this one!
