Makes Me Queasy

Well I'm a-gummin' this old toad. . .psychedelic; I'm told
Its secretions will expand my mind.

But its skin is moldy, and its blood runs coldly.
I find that licking this slime
Makes me queasy, makes me queasy,
Although I must admit: I feel kind of spacey.

Lightheaded I think I am; I'd like to lie on that divan
It's getting very hard to stand; I'm feeling queasy.

Well now I'm curled up on a corner, odd visions in my cornea
Many strange sights do I see:
There's the toad at Lourdes, where its getting cured;
Turns into a prince and kisses me.

It says, "Baby, please don't flay me!
I want to save my skin; I know you crave me."

It was oozing, this green skin. So I guzzled Listerine and gin,
Because my tongue was blisterin' and feelin' greasy.

Well I was gummin' this old toad. . .psychedelic, I's told. . .
Think the amphibian blew my mind.

Now I lift the cover; o'er the pot I hover
While I look for thyme.

Over easy, over easy—
Side dish of eggs I make; then I start to graze it.

The temp stays fit, where I've raised it
I'm gonna throw that toad into the pot and braise it.
