Parody Song Title:

"Cough Drops Are Clearing Up My Head"

Parody Written by:

Malcolm Higgins

The Lyrics

cough drops are clearing up my head
and I've bought humidifiers blowing two feet from my bed
nasal things to fix
those cough drops are clearing up my head, yes they're helping

so I just did me some talking to the doc,
and he said I need to bundle up my face and walk
get up off my ass
those cough drops are clearing up my head, yes they're helping

but there's new meds, I know
the pills they sent to cure me won't assure me
it won't be long I'll be depressed, and crying "poor me"

cough drops are clearing up my head
and I've bought humidifiers blowing two feet from my bed
nasal things to fix
those cough drops are clearing up my head, yes they're helping
but they're not free
nothing's workin for me..

------ Trumpet ------

It won't be long till medicines, will start to cure me

cough drops are clearing up my head
and I've bought humidifiers blowing two feet from my bed
nasal things to fix
those cough drops are clearing up my head, yes they're helping
but they're not free
nothing's workin for me..

I saw a funny commercial for "Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid" on TV once where it played part of this song, but it got cut off at the first line before "head" by gunfire.

How frighteningly ironic...I've been fighting off a cold for the past few days and am still trying to shake it off as I'm typing this. Don't know the ENTIRE original song, but good job anyhow. Kauff...sniff-sniff...AYYYYYY-CHOOOOOOO!!!!! *groans*
