I fill his dish

I fill his dish with bags of doggie chow
He wolfs it down and then he licks my brow
He breaks the bank, I don't give a damn
That precious soul is worth every penny
Everywhere I go he's always with me
People envy us, they start to stare

Life without a dog
I can't imagine life if dogs did not exist
Those longing glances show what other people miss
When I hug him and I get a doggie kiss
They long to share

Your dog is your friend
Your love is measured by the love you give to them
They are more worthy than a lifeless precious gem
The wife, the kids and dog make everybody's home
