The Lyrics

ABBA MEGAMIX

Oh my, a Porterloo is something we must get hold of.
Oh yes, without a loo the crowds who come would be in some discomfort.
Experience says it’s a must
Something in which we can trust.

Porterloo, when people need it, it’s always there.
Porterloo, something you need to have at every fair.
Porterloo, need it for the likes of me and you,
Porterloo, actually we would need quite a few,
Wo, wo, wo, wo
Porterloo, everyone needs a good Porterloo.

Sometimes, I try to hold it back but can’t wait longer,
Oh yes, and then I hope to find my way and fight through all the crowds
And pray that I get there in time
Relieving myself is sublime!

Porterloo, when people need it, it’s always there
Porterloo, something you need to have at every fair.
Porterloo, need it for the likes of me and you,
Porterloo, actually we would need quite a few,
Wo, wo, wo, wo
Porterloo, everyone needs a good Porterloo...

You’ve been cheating on Mum for a number of years,
She’s now out of her mind, can’t you see all her tears?
Look at her now, won’t you ever learn,
You don’t know how, and she’s going to lose her mind,
You’re just nasty and so unkind.
Take a look at yourself and you’ll see
What you’ve done to my mum and to me, w-o-o-o-oh

Dada dear, there you go again
Oh my, none of them resist you.
Dada dear, at a low again,
Oh my, how many have kissed you?
Now we’re both left in limbo
Since you went with that bimbo.
Bye bye, now it’s time for you to go.
Dada dear, I suppose you know
We’ll cry, but it’s time for you to go...

...I have a scheme, a plan in mind,
And at the end I hope to find
What could be a fortune if I get the sale.
I can see the future, and I mustn’t fail.
I trust in my instincts
Something I’ve believed in all these years.
I trust in my instincts
And I haven’t had the time for tears.
I’ll back my team – I have a scheme.

I have a scheme, I’ve thought it through,
Not done before, it’s something new.
It’s my destination, daring to be bold,
Glad it’s now all over, something to behold.
I trust in my instincts
Something I’ve believed in all these years.
I trust in my instincts
And I haven’t had the time for tears.
I’ll back my team – I have a scheme.
I’ll back my team – I have a scheme...

...You can prance, you can slide, doing whatever you like,
See that boy, catch his scene, he is the prancing queen.

Tuesday night and you’re feeling low
Giving thought of a place to go
Where you might find some action, trying to find some fun,
You go out to search for someone.
Everybody ought to watch out
If they ever see you about,
With your looks and your swagger, always feeling fine,
You seem to move in a trance
And never lose the chance

To see a prancing queen, fresh in face, and he’s just eighteen,
Prancing queen, it’s a thing he has always been (oh yeah),
You can prance, you can slide, doing whatever you like,
See that boy, catch his scene, he is the prancing queen...

...Super duper you should come and find me
Now I’m feeling fine.
Can’t you see the sign?
‘Cause now I’m going to make you mine.

I was drunk and feeling rather ill
When I phoned you last week from Brighton.
What I did I can’t remember still,
I couldn’t even put the light on.
(I couldn’t even put the light on).
But I’m glad to say I’m feeling so much better
(Feeling so much better),
I now know just what to say
(And from now on I’ll put things right)
Things from now will be quite different
When I call you up today.

As I feel
Super duper now I’m feeling sober
And I’m feeling fine
(Sup-p-per dup-p-per)
No more beer or wine
(Sup-p-per dup-p-per)
And I’m going to make you mine.
I’m feeling
Super duper you should come and find me
Now I’m feeling fine.
(Sup-p-per dup-p-per)
Can’t you see the sign?
(Sup-p-per dup-p-per)
‘Cause now I’m going to make you mine...

Where's "Fernando?" H0ow can you have a ABBA Megamix without "Fernando?" That was the most ABB-stastic song of all

Likewise, my favorite ABBA song. A song of war, just like "Sky Pilot", though without the bagpipes. Actually, the best ABBA recording was the instrumental "Arrival". First heard it only a year or so ago. What took me so long? If you must have a "Fernando" parody, you can always track my "Fitzgerald", about my fall-back topic of choice. I'm trying to visualize "Prancing Queen". Funny. Last chance to laugh. Two weeks from now that stanza will be a "hate crime".

I parodied "Waterloo" with "Stalingrad" , which was Hitlers Waterloo ..... Stalingrad -- killed the dreams the Fuehrer had
