Art class is special; they gath-er the kids on the floor
And we little folks creatively learn and explore
A few might have talent, so wondrous to see
But most of the rest are exactly like me
Can't draw even a box
But with news-print, my poster board rocks!

So I say
Thank you for the glue sticks; With tape and scissors
We can all be artwork wizards
There's no doubt about it, I say in all modesty

Brother was always the fav'rite, to go by the talk
The first to say "Mama/Daddy", to pull up or walk
Good-looking, athletic, so witty and smart
But he'll just be nothing when I am an art-
-ist who's famous and rich
I'll just shrug and say, "Ain't ... life a b*tch?"

Then I'll say
Thank you for the visit-- I must be going
Clients called for private showing
Wine and cheese reception, then Arts Guild Fundraiser Ball
And that's not all
I have a mur-al to paint at the mall
So please forgive me--very busy--
Tell Mom and Dad I'll call

And as for Chucky, tell him this girl's songs won't be there
I am the King of Art, not being snotty
Got employed: portrait: wife, guy in France!

Promise of adult redemption
Though I have no talent, our modern art is so free
Aesthetic'lly
They'll tout my depth and my pro- -fundity
I'll be an Oprah "Best of New" pick
