The Lyrics

When I reached 150 parodies, I set myself a goal of posting at my established pace of about 2.5/day, average, until I hit 300—after which I'd take a break from that pace, get back to my limericks project, and try to learn to play the satanic soprano saxophone. With today's post I reach the numerical goal. From here on, I plan to enjoy the great work on the site and post periodically.
I was bored, then a friend gave me the name.
Now I howl at great work that deserves fame.
It's amiright, and it makes me laugh.
It's amiright; it jumps from the cache
And I laugh, laugh, laugh.

I must praise clever, ruthless pop-song rags.
This site's cool, and it keep me coming back.
It's amiright, and it makes me laugh.
It's amiright; it jumps from the cache
And I laugh, laugh, laugh.

When it's down, wish it's up so more can be read.
Then I frown, because I'll have to work instead.
I can clown again when it is restarted.
Glad I've found the site and contributed.
It's amiright, and it makes me laugh.
It's amiright; it jumps from the cache
And I laugh, laugh, laugh.

Jumps from the cache, laugh, laugh, laugh.
Jumps from the cache, laugh, laugh, laugh.
Jumps from the cache, laugh, laugh, laugh.
Jumps from the cache, laugh, laugh, laugh.

Thanks, Stuart. Larry, but with a different repertoire. Thanks, Kristof. 150 was a couple months ago. Today is 300.

Don't take too much time off, John. That,s an order, not a request. The rest off us depend on your constant, amazing parodies to make it through the day. %'s all round, as usual

Thanks Airfarcewon, and speaking of clever titles, your name. Thanks, Adagio. Dee, Ash--thank you!!! I'm honored by your comments. I may not keep up the previous pace, but I'm sticking around.

I don't know what the record is for quickness to 300, but you must be close to is. I'm in there also, but you wrote most of yours from scratch, and I didn't. Congrats, and we're looking forward to performing a few of these with you soon.

Rick, thanks. One of these days I'll get the nerve to sing at EG.

JB - Congrats on 300! WOW! you came around here in what? Around April? Shoot, I've been toiling and posting here since last Nov 10th and as of right now I've got 160 (and 3 more submitted tonight). I thought I was pretty busy, but my piddly output pales in comparision. However, it looks like there is a good possibility I will beat you to the mic at Espresso Gardens...(I know saying that will mean he'll end up doing something there first, but what they h*ll, I can't help myself sometimes)...OH, yeah, 5's here. I liked this one.
