The Lyrics

If it wasn't for Dunkin' Donuts, I'd never make it through a day. The hard part is being an American of Polish descent using an English mouth to speak an Italian word to a Mexican server with Spanish ears... and your change includes a Canadian penny, causing you to say "Pardon my French!"
(guitar intro)

I need cooling.
Honey, I ain't fooling.
Temperature rising.
All this sweat is pooling.
So hot outside.
Honey, I need it.
Give me the drink that I love!
Give me the drink that I love!

Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!

Air is burning, and my stomach's turning.
Time to make the donuts, all that batter churning.
Way, way down inside, honey, I need it.
Gimme the donuts that I love!
And the drink that I love!

Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!

(long instrumental break, with the following sounds mixed in)

Slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp...

Mmmm...

Yuuuum!

Ah, ah, ah, ah...

(drum crashes, guitar licks, we resume the vocals)

I need cooling, baby, I've been drooling.
I've been dreaming about a Boston creaming.
Not just the Yankee kind.
Although that I also need.
I'm gonna pay three-fifty for love!
So gimme drink that I love!

Yeah! All right!

Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!
Got that coolatta love!

(way down...)
WAY DOWN INSIDE!
(inside...)
(donut...)
DONUT!
(donut...)
AND DRINK, YEAH!

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE!

Slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp...
Slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp...
Slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp...
Slurp, slurp, slurp, slurp...

Yum! Oh! Yum! Oh!

Make it for me!
I wanna be your venti man!

Yum! Oh! Yum! Oh!

Keep me cool now, baby!
Keep me cool now, baby!
Keep me cool now, baby!
Keep me cool now, baby!
Whoooo....
(fade out)
The fact that Dunkin' Donuts started in Boston, but is now also a major sponsor of the Yankees' YES Network, is one of those great ironies of sports. I like New England. Their food, their scenery, their politicians. Just not their sports teams... May the Hartford Whalers rest in peace.

Welcome to the melting pot... "Boston creaming" a good one. Good sendup of not-so-good OS. Five lattes, Five donuts, Five cents an hour to wetback waiter, probably.
