( --- instrumental intro --- )

As I'm hanging on
Sky thunders
( It's ) Storming strong
Up a-bove
The replicant looks on

I lose my death-grip and
He reaches
And takes my hand
Why did he?
( Oh ) I don't understand

[ REPLICANT: ]

" I've seen things you won't believe ---
--- ships on fire off Orion's sleeve!
C-beams glitter, coruscate ---
--- near the Tannhauser gate!
And I wonder --- I wa-wa-wa-wa-wonder
Why?
Oh-why-why-why-why-why?
Why was I made? "

And I wonder,
Why me he'd aid?

I'm just a runner blade
A hunt-down, gun-down, runner blade

( --- instrumental --- )

Holds a dove there in the rain
Tears are falling and I feel his pain
Wishing he'd more years than three
Soon ends his misery

And he wonders
He wa-wa-wa-wa-wonders

Why

Ah-why-why-why-why-why --- why he was made ---

And I wonder,
Why me he'd aid?

I'm just a runner blade
A hunt-down, gun-down, runner blade
A run-down, gun-down, runner blade
A run-run, run-run, runner blade

( --- instrumental and fade --- )

Ha! of course I KT film (one of my faves, and one of the few modern day genuine noirs) - although I was looking forward to the reference to darryl hannah back-flipping across the room to apply her thigh-hold! To use your word JD...mrowwww! (spelling?) - 555

DKTOS but DK this one of the all time great movies, though it's beginning to come close to premature past now when basically every third or so eppy of CSI has better enhancement software for photographs than DNA-tracking than what HF had in this future flash/clash.

I don't know why SFproducers don't just call you at the start of shooting to write the official film parody. If you want a version that doesn't take poetic license, how about "Blade Runner" to Foreigner's "Hot Blooded"? JB - we're rooting for you!
