Parody Song Title:

"I Stick My Chewing Gum"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

I stick my chewing gum
under the desk; I’m sneaky.
I do this dumb deed weekly,
when sick of too-chewed gum.

Plenty of other guys
are sticking theirs up under
their desks, which need a gum purge…
mountains of chewing gum.

After the stuff has weathered,
it becomes hard as jade.
It cannot be untethered.
There is so much, my knees are frayed.

For students that will come
after me—they’ll regret it.
Their knees, too, will be shredded
by rock-hard chewing gum.
