The Lyrics

I've never actually been to a comic shop, they are a mystery to me.
Give props to Stan Lee
Other writers too
Though R.I.P. to Jack Kirby

I would like to read some stories
I would like to spend some money
I would like to stare at hotties
I would like some comic books

Hey Mr. Store Guy, what you got on hand
I wanna read about heroes
Like Superman and Flash, and even Aquaman
Though he's closer to zero

Comics: my fav'rite thing that's on paper
Comics whether by DC or by Marvel

New Batman ish today
Will the villain be the Clock
King or that Scarcrow nutjob?
Cannot wait to read it through
Cuz the cover doesn't say
Although even if it did
Wouldn't trust it anyway

Comics make the day go that much faster
Comics are the best use of ink and paper

There's so much awesome

Like to look at crazy fight scenes
Like to look at bad guys screaming
Like to look at girls in tight jeans
Or in latex, I don't care

Hey Mr. Store Guy
Where'd you fuckin' go
I'm waiting for my new issues
You went into the back, with nothing you came out
Wouldn't that piss you off, dude?
Uh, uh, uh

Comics, really need some, kinda right now
Yeah
Comics, anything that's not drawn by Liefeld*
Comics: are they really such a waste of
Time?
Comics waste your time, but in quite a fun way

Thanks Mr. Store Guy
Took your bloody time
But thank you for my new issues
And here's the cash I owe, right down to the last cent
Wait, that's a dirty tissue
Uh, uh, uh

Sorry, that's not cash, that's something private
Oopsie, how that got there, I do not know

Here, Mr. Store Guy
Thanks for your help, bye!

Action Comics #1 (the first appearance of Superman) recently was auctioned for one million dollars! This, however, is a billion dollar parody. ;D

I like where you got the idea from because the music video is animated it was great.

When I was a kid I used to go to this comics store nearby. Anyway, good parody, flowed well

Aquaman's still around? Nice job on this.

For a man who only gave my Spider-Man tribute 1 point last round you sure do know a lot about comics. Just messing with ya, this was pretty good.

It was paced well, a difficult song to work with. Constructive criticism I've given you before which I will give again: try to push the level of absurdity up a notch.

Comically hilarious! My bro and I used to collect Marvel and Superman comics when we were still children. My bro's fave comic is "The Death Of Superman". I also have one of my old X-Men comics back in 1992-93. But now, the only comics I read are Sunday Comics with Garfield, Hi and Lois, etc. I used to play Comix Zone for Sega Genesis. If I won the lottery, I would buy the rarest comics available. Anyways, 555 back issues for this one and ditto on Matt's comment about the music video.

Uh, hmmm. . .I have to admit TCOP, there was nothing in this that really made me laugh. It seemed overall pretty well paced, and other than a few missed rhymes, it was technically very good, but it just didn't have any real out there lines. . .no quoateables so to speak.
