Mustang is coming and fast!
Pursued Charger is fully gassed.
Chasing Mustang will not relent.
Drivers might get some whiplash;
into obstacles they crash.

The Charger, from the fray
cannot get too far.
The driver knows the way,
but so does Steve, the star.
This is a driving test,
and the best in flames won’t be lost.
Chasing Mustang driver ain’t spent.

Bummer, a shotgun blast
puts pock marks in the windshield glass—
chasing Mustang briefly relents.
Bring out the shells again,
stuff pump’s chamber with élan.
Chasing Mustang hits charger: BANG!
The fender’s shape has changed,
as if a crowbar
rudely rearranged
that portion of the car.

The Charger has egressed
from the road and will pay the cost.
Flames erupt, and the embers spread.

Mustang also has crashed
but ends not in a fiery blast.
Paint is crumpled in fender bends.
Gotta fix it up, and fast…
remove every dent and smash.
Paint the Mustang’s fixed fender bends,
make the Mustang nixed-dents again.
