The Lyrics

The tale of one Connor Kent a.k.a Superboy!
You believe he flies
It's the same for me
Not a great disguise
Black with S-logo tee

A bit of a jerk, mostly that's explained
Because I'm a teen clone of one of the greats
And it's not easy to be me

I used to just rely
On a little cheat
And it's called "tactile
Telekinesis", you see

A weird pair of words but still kinda neat
How I may have had the Boy Scout's genes
But none of the perks so they programmed me
To be strong and bulletproof, but see
It's still not easy to be me

Sure, that may have changed, feel that I need
A stand-out, right
Cause the shadow that I find
I'm still framed in is really big

Gained his double life
So you might call me
Connor Kent, that's fine
Or Kon-El, if you please

I'm not quite the man in the silly red sheet
Still foiled by Kryptonite from that "home" not seen
And though that man in the funny red sheet
Is known for being nice, that I can't be
That's just not me, wish I could be
Yeah, but it's not me, just not for me
A boy, not a man, in a simple black tee
Used to have a jacket in the nineties
A boy, still no man, in a basic black tee
And it's not easy, ooh-ooh, hoo-ooh, hoo
It's not easy to be me

Usually it takes me a while to even out my DC/Marvel parodies due to reasons of issues with getting a good title sub, but it's only been three weeks since the last Marvel one and boom, here we are with a DC. Given how it's recently been rumoured that Namor'll be the villain for Black Panther II, I wonder if a similar rumour for Superboy will come out in the next month or so...
