Michael Jackson's, "Stranger in Moscow"
The Lyrics:
I was wandering in the rain
(Mask of life, feelin' insane)
Swift and sudden fall from grace
(Sunny days seem far away)
Kremlin's shadow belittlin' me
(Stalin's tomb won't let me be)
On and on and on it came
Wish the rain would just let me be
Why:
Moscow, Russia. The song is set in there because when Michael wrote it in 1993 (though released in 1996 worldwide [1997 in USA]), it was when he was touring in Moscow, he was accused of child abuse. The lyrics described how lonely, paranoid, isolated and how he was close to being insane.
The Moscow Kremlin is a famous fortified complex in Moscow.
