Bobbie Gentry's, "Ode To Billy Joe"
The Lyrics:
Brother married Becky Thompson;
They bought a store in Tupelo.
Why:
Tupelo is a city in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Mississippi. Perhaps it's major claim to fame is that it is the birthplace of Elvis Presley, but that has no obvious tie-in with this song. But since the song refers to a Tallahatchie bridge and there is a Tallahatchie River in northern Mississippi, this Mississippi city is surely what the song must refer to.
