"Since you been gone, she's been seeing that Amos boy since."
...
So he went home and finally found
The only thing Papa had left with the map was a gun
…
To Andy's house in fact that night were mine
And his cheap wife had never left town
"Since you been gone, she's been seeing that Amos boy, Seth."
…
So he went home and finally found
The only thing Papa had left him and that was a gun
…
To Andy's house and back that night were mine
And his cheating wife had never left town
His wife was lower than 'cheating' because the friend had been with her too!
'Cause the Georgian the town's got bloodstains on his hands.
'Cause the judge in the town got bloodstains on his hands.
'cause the judge in the town got love scenes on his hands
'cause the judge in the town got bloodstains on his hands
'cause the jug they found had lustings in his hands
'cause the judge in the town got bloodstains on his hands
And his cheap house had never left town
And that's one body that'll never be found
She insisted on this when she aims her gun
And his cheatin' wife had never left town
And that's one body that'll never be found
See, little sister don't miss when she aims her gun
Andy Warhol said 'Hello'.
Andy Wolloe said 'Hello'.

A film was released in 1981 entitled "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia." The film is about a young singer and his sister/manager traveling to Nashville in search of stardom. As they journey from one grimy hotel to another, it becomes increasingly obvious that only one of them has what it takes to become a star.
Travis Child (played by Dennis Quaid) is a country singer who had one hit song and then faded from the scene. His ambitious sister, Amanda (played by Kristy McNichol), is determined to get them to Nashville where Travis can once again become a star. Her plans are derailed by Travis's lack of ambition and easy distraction by women and booze.
The two are separated in one town and by the time they find each other in the next one, Travis has been arrested for public drunkenness. To pay the fine he takes a job bartending at a roadside tavern called Andy's, where he meets and falls for a young lady with a very jealous ex-boyfriend--who happens to be the deputy sheriff.
