Actually, Mark Lindsay's diction is pretty clear here. Only the second line of the last verse bothers me, and I've concluded that he flubbed that line. It sounds like: 'I will be guide your way' when he probably meant to sing 'I'll be there to guide your way' or 'I will guide your way.'
