Misheard lyrics (also called mondegreens) occur when people misunderstand the lyrics in a song. These are NOT intentional rephrasing of lyrics, which is called parody.
This page contains all the misheard lyrics for 2+2 that have been submitted to this site and the old collection from inthe80s started in 1996.

Van Zant's, "2+2"
You keep subtracting the time you should be mine
And that can't solve my problem.
No matter how much I ask,
It just keeps driving me mad,
I get no closer to that 'unintelligible'.
You keep subtracting the time you should be mine
And that can't solve my problem.
No matter how much I ask,
It just keeps driving me mad,
I get no closer to that 'Southern Charm'.
This is for Van Zant the band, not Johnny Van Zant as a solo artist (Although he is the lead singer). 2+2 is a great song (so are all the others on the disc) but this last verse has been driving me crazy for a long time. Using my usual tricks with an audio editor (Sound Forge), I am now 99% sure that the last words, which are very hard to hear correctly, are 'Southern Charm' (which I think makes sense and fits into the context of the song - the premise is '2+2 don't add up to me and you'.)
It feels like a perfect night to dress up like hamsters
It feels like a perfect night to dress up like hipsters
Swimming suit, swimming suit
Twenty-two, twenty-two
