Chicago's, "Beginnings"
The Repetitive Lyrics:
It's only the beginning
It's only the beginning, etc.
Why They're Repetitive:
When I started doing this at karaoke, people would laugh because it was so repetitive at the end. But these were the words that came up on the screeen! (I use one on the 'Dangerous' label.) Then I saw Chicago do it live, and Robert Lamm did this great, spine-tingling, gutteral-gravelly improv while the others sang the repetition. Since the karaoke version already provides the repetitive part, I mastered my own improv, and now I can't go without all the regulars wanting me to do Beginnings!

Chicago's, "Dialogue (pt.1&2)"
The Repetitive Lyrics:
we can make it better, (3x)
we can change the world now(3x)
we can save the children (6x)
we can make it happen (about 27x)
Why They're Repetitive:
they repeat it like a mantra

Chicago's, "Feelin' Stronger Every Day"
The Repetitive Lyrics:
Feelin' Stronger Every Day
Why They're Repetitive:
I like many of Chicago's songs, and even this one, except for the last part. If it comes on the radio I will listen intently until just after the 'Yah yah yah'. When the repetitive refrain starts, I'll listen once, then change the station.

Chicago's, "No Tell Lover"
The Repetitive Lyrics:
I want her
I can't leave her
I won't live without her
She's my no tell lover
Why They're Repetitive:
But I bet it's not etched in stone.
