Sugar Ray's, "Disasterpiece"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
I never knew how good
I never knew how good it could be
(later in the song) I always knew how good it could be
Why They're Nonsensical:
Did you or did you not know? They contradict themselves here. I love the song, but I don't get the point they're trying to get across here.

Sugar Ray's, "Every Morning"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
Every morning there's a halo hanging from the corner of my girlfriend's four-post bed
I know it's not mine but I'll see if I can use it for the weekend or a one-night stand
Why They're Nonsensical:
If you're already in bed with a girl, why do you want to get a one night stand with her halo?

Sugar Ray's, "Fly"
The Nonsensical Lyrics:
All around the world, statues crumble for me
Who knows how long I've loved you?
Everywhere I go, people stop and they say.
25 years old my mother god rest her soul
Why They're Nonsensical:
Funny thing in the next verse Mark sings "we'll find out I'm told; my mother she told me so." But how can he find out from his mother if she's apparently dead? In addition, Mark was actually 29 when this song was recorded.
