You're standing at the door
I'm falling to the floor
Unless Nelly was floored by the force of the door opening or the man was either so striking/ugly that she fainted in shock, I think this is the classic case of 'rubbish, cliched rhyming'.

You're gonna curse your drawers and wish you weren't a boy, yeah
'Drawers' are the technical name for underwear, yet why one would curse them due to a bad relationship is beyond me.

I'm like a bird, I'll only fly away
Huh? She's a human being, and humans do not possess the qualities of "flying away." Perhaps she meant this in a figurative sense or something. But at first glance it doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

Island of wonder, where are you going?
Nobody knows it but it is snowing
How can I even explain why these are nonsense? We have the case of an island that seems to be rapidly moving on its own accord [tectonic plates going mad?] and then from nowhere Nelly claims that nobody knows that it's snowing. Where? Who knows? And if nobody knows, why does she know in the first place? Someone or something must've told her.

When you feel so powerless,
What are you gonna do?
Gotta say what you want!
How does saying what you want give you extra power?

Roses are red, some diamonds are blue.
No diamonds, in the whole world, are actually blue!

I live my life by the moon
If it's high play it low,
if it's harvest go slow
and if it's full, then go
Is she supposed to be a werewolf or something?
