A tiger's waiting to be tamed, singing, 'you are'.
You are what? This is really annoying. Why would a tiger be singing 'you are'? And if it was wasn't tamed, it would more likely be growling and snarling than singing.

And birds go flying at the speed of sound,
to show you how it all began.
Birds came flying from the underground,
if you could see it then you'd understand?
Dude, I think I would understand you if I was high. And only then.

...[And] birds go flying at the speed of sound
...[And] the birds came flying from the underground
I love this song, but I must point out that birds cannot fly at the speed of sound, and neither can your favorite ham sandwich. Also, if the birds were underground, they couldn't fly out most likely, and neither could your favorite ham sandwich.

You can climb a ladder up to the sun
Ah, no, you can't. All the other... suggestions in the chorus, sure, go ahead, but this line is obviously impossible.

Questions of science,
science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart
I am totally lost by these.

I drew a line
I drew a line for you
And it was all yellow.
How romantic. He drew a line for her. Now wonder Gwyneth fell for him. With lyrics like that...and it was YELLOW, TOO! Sexy.

Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And everything you do,
Yeah they were all yellow,
I came along I wrote a song for you
And all the things you do
And it was called yellow
So then I took my turn
Oh all the things I've done
And it was all yellow
How can everything be yellow...esp the things someone does and stuff like that????? this song is sweet...but the lyrics are kinda nonsensical!!!
