What's that bulge under her nightie?
It must be hermaphrodite
Hermaphrodite (pronounced with the 'ee' at the end) was a character from Greek Mythology, the result of the merging of a man, Hermaphroditos, and a nymph, Salmacis. Salmacis grabbed Hermaphroditos while he swam and pulled him underwater, clutching to him and praying to the gods that they'd never be seperated. The gods, twisted bastards they are, merged the two into one body and this being was sometimes known as Hermaphrodite ('ee' once again). This is the origin of the english word hermaphrodite (silent e). Stephen Lynch isn't mispronouncing anything, he's just smarter than you.
[Ed's comment: But somewhat less verbose!]

All throughout the song he pronounces hermaphrodite wrong for no apparent reason.
[Ed's note : I suggest it was to make it rhyme!]
